Olivier Vaucher
Olivier Vaucher, born in 1954 in Neuchâtel, comes from a line of watchmakers dating back to the 18th century. Trained in engraving at the School of Applied Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds, he settled in Geneva in 1974, where he honed his skills at Blum & Züllig. In 1978, he founded his own workshop with an innovative vision: to combine tradition and innovation to imbue watch dials with a unique artistic dimension. His bold approach leads him to integrate cutting-edge technologies, such as high-precision machine tools, while preserving time-honored techniques.
Dominique Vaucher
In 2003, he was joined by Dominique Vaucher, a painter, who brought a fresh perspective to the workshop. Together, they enriched the creations with a diverse range of techniques, from grand feu enameling to miniature painting, including engraving and gem-setting. Their collaboration resulted in exceptional timepieces, combining technical mastery with artistic expression. Today, the Olivier Vaucher Workshops are renowned for their ability to transform ideas into unique horological works, thanks to a multidisciplinary team and a constant pursuit of excellence.
The Management Committee
After years of service to the workshop, Olivier and Dominique Vaucher have passed the torch. Continuity is ensured by a five-person Management Committee, united by a common mission: to perpetuate the values and high standards that have built the reputation of Olivier Vaucher SA. The company remains family-owned, with Aurélia Frézier, Olivier Vaucher's daughter, taking over as head.
